In my paintings and mock-ups, I wanted to present buildings without their specific function, structure, window composition, or contextual relationship. I gave up on perspective, axonometry, projections, cross-sections, scale or details. There are no attributes that seemingly are necessary to present a building. The starting point is the impression. It arises as a result of contact with a real object or is a prelude to a form conceived by imagination.
